Shirley Thompson BSc RSHom
Shirley qualified as a homeopath in 2000 and has an established practice in Nottingham. Her passion for homeopathy has led to ongoing post-graduate training, including training in supervision and studying at the Aroga School of Homeopathy in Sheffield from 2007 to 2008. Prior to homeopathy, Shirley worked for over 20 years as a secondary school teacher. This experience was helpful in enabling Shirley to work in conjunction with Nottingham Education Department during 2003 to 2004, providing homeopathic treatment for a group of young people with learning and behavioural difficulties.
Since 2003 Shirley has been involved in homeopathic education as a student tutor for the North West College of Homeopathy. She is also a supervisor of graduates during the registration process. Shirley joined the Impact team in May 2008. She is a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths, the lead professional and registration body for homeopathy.
